NC-CME
Donors
The CCMEPâ„¢ is the only credential that designates qualified individuals as
Certified CME Professionals. Certification benefits these individuals as well as
the organizations that employ them by offering evidence of competence and
continuous professional development. By advancing the profession, NC-CME strives
to enhance the credibility of CME/CHE/IME as an independent, self-regulated
enterprise in the interest of the public's health.
Certification fees provide the largest source of operating funds for the CCMEP
program; in 2010-2011, registrations from NC-CME programs provided more than
73% of total revenue. Additional funding will be required to ensure
continuous monitoring and updating of exam content within a strong and stable
infrastructure.
NC-CME is a 501(c)(3) tax exempt organization; donations are tax-deductible to
the extent of the law and donors receive acknowledgements for tax purposes. No
goods or services are received in return for charitable contributions.
